Disney has promulgated that its massive Orlando-area theme park and resort will now accept contactless forms of payment like Apple Pay and Google Wallet beginning this Wednesday in the last week of December.
In size and attendance, Walt Disney World is the most astronomically immense of the regalement giant’s six theme parks with around 18 million visitors per year. The company withal plans to debut the payment system at its more minuscule Disneyland park in California next year.
Disney was one of the first companies to get onboard with Apple Pay when it launched in the Coalesced States in October. The company has already concurred to outfit all of its retail stores to fortify the payment method.
While Apple Pay is by no designates macrocosmically accepted, it does seem to be gaining more traction than some of its competitors that have been around longer like Google Wallet and Softcard.
