MELBOURNE: BioWare has announced that it is going to release Patch 7 for Dragon Age: Inquisition for the players of PC only. According to BioWare the new Patch 7 might include anticipated free Black Emporium update for its players.

While details on what Patch 7 might include have not yet been released, BioWare is now informing Dragon Age: Inquisition PC players that they can now apply to be a part of the upcoming beta program. The tests will only be open to PC owners of the game. By beta testing new Dragon Age: Inquisition updates, BioWare hopes to be able to launch the patches with fewer bugs.

The ongoing beta program for Dragon Age: Inquisition ensures that the content will launch with fewer issues. This could end up saving the developer money, since both Microsoft and Sony charge a fee to deploy each additional patch that could be required to fix any problems that might not otherwise be discovered without a beta test.

It is possible that Patch 7 might include the anticipated free Black Emporium update for Dragon Age: Inquisition. As reported by the Inquisitr, Dragon Age: Inquisition executive producer Mark Darrah has revealed that the Emporium is expected to launch in May.

The Black Emporium was initially announced to be heading to Dragon Age: Inquisition as part of the game’s first beta program. While it was originally tested alongside Patch 5, BioWare never actually intended to launch the content with that update. However, the developer has since confirmed that the features will still be released as part of an upcoming free patch for Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Like the Black Emporium that was previously introduced in the second installment of BioWare’s popular role-playing franchise, the upcoming feature will give gamers the ability to alter the character’s in-game appearance throughout Dragon Age: Inquisition‘s story-based campaign. Fans will be able to use a mirror to change customization options, such as hairstyle and voice.

Giving players an easy entry point to try out the title’s newly released DLC on Xbox One and PC, Xbox Gold subscribers can now choose to digitally purchase Dragon Age: Inquisition for half price. Microsoft’s Larry Hyrb, better known to fans as Major Nelson, confirmed on his blog that Dragon Age: Inquisition has been discounted this week on Xbox One as part of this week’s “Deals With Gold.”
