Enforcement-South Chief Collector Nazim meets Rangers DG

KARACHI: Enforcement-South Chief Collector Muhammad Nazim Saleem on Wednesday called on Sindh Rangers Director General Major Gen Bilal Akbar in the Rangers Headquarters.

During the meeting, both the top officers discussed matters pertaining to the security arrangements at the check-posts setup in Sindh.

Nazim Saleem briefed the Major Gen Bilal Akbar about the deployment of customs officials at different check posts in Sindh.

During the meeting, both the officers agreed upon to deploy adequate law enforcing agencies personnel at all check-posts in Sindh Region in order to curb the menace of smuggling.

The chief collector informed about the effective measures taken by the Enforcement Collectorate in order to restrict the Iranian oil/diesel smuggling in the region.

On the occasion, the Rangers DG assured the chief collector for full support and cooperation of Rangers officials in thwarting attempts of smuggling, particularly the Iranian diesel/oil smuggling into the region.
