LAHORE: The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department has issued notices with one percent penalty to the defaulters of the property tax.
According to Director Excise and Taxation Region-A Akram Ashraf Gondal, the department has recovered 60 percent of the tax in the region and their set target will be achieved before time. Hundreds of thousand property tax defaulters in Punjab will have to pay one percent fine, he added.
