The circular said that submission of certified ‘Form-E’ was not being complied in letter and spirit and instances of fake ‘Form-E’ numbers indicated on online GDs had come to the notice which was liable for a stern legal action. Moreover, non-submission of ‘Form-E’ created problems in reconciliation with banks. Therefore, it is reiterated for the information and guidance of exporters as well as their clearing agents that uploading of ‘Form-E’ duly certified by commercial banks of the exporter is a mandatory requirement for online filing of GDs for export. The hard copy of ‘Form-E’ should be submitted with the respective export terminal operator without fail. The notification also warned that all exporters were advised to adhere to the instructions for unhindered exports and expeditious duty drawback payments.
