Facilitating pilgrims: Iranian govt decides to link its railway with Iraq

BAGHDAD: To facilitate the pilgrims who wanted to went in Iraq to visit the shrines and holy sites, the Iranian government has decided to linking its railway with Iraq, said the Iranian government spokesman Mohammad Baqer Naubakt in his statement here the other day.

News agency IRNA quoted Naubakht, during a press conference after a meeting of the community council of ministers, as saying, “In accordance with the decision made by the Iranian authorities, we will take the necessary measures to facilitate the travel of Iranian pilgrims to Iraq.”
