FAISALABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office (RTO) Faisalabad could not recover liable amount worth millions of rupees from defaulters in its region.
As per available information, tax defaulter factories in the Faisalabad region have not paid their taxes for several years. Moreover, the department seems unwilling to take any action against tax evaders.
Sources said that Bilal Package is the defaulter of Rs 34 million, Silver Fabric Rs 7.7 million, Hassan Paper Corn Factory Rs 6.1 million, Fine Pack Rs 4.56 million, Naeem Anwar Trader 4.3 million, Sikh Textile Rs 3.3 million, Abdullah Pack Right Rs 2.2 million, Pakistan Enterprises Rs 1.4 million, Azadi Textile Rs 1.23 million, Rehman Tax Intl Rs 7 million, Makkah Tax Rs 0.54 million, and Chinniot Textile Rs 0.74 million.
