FBR appreciates performance of Multan E&C for boosting revenue collection

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has appreciated performance of Customs Collectorate Enforcement & Compliance (E&C) for boosting revenue collection through administrative measures during FY 2019-20.

The Federal Board of Revenue directed all collectors of Customs Collectorates Including Multan and Commissioners of Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) to achieved desired revenue task for the previous economic year 2019-20.

The Collectorate has witnessed 61 percent growth in revenue collection during economic year 2019-20.

Multan Customs Collectorate has collected customs duty and tax collection through administrative measures by focusing primary areas of revenue collection especially during the last months of the previous financial year.

Effective following recovery of adjudged government liabilities audit of manufacturing Bond and DTRE users were given particular attention in the last month of the current financial year and significant recoveries have been made.

The Model of Customs Collectorate Enforcement & Compliance (E&C) Multan has been appreciated by Secretary Customs Budget Muhammad Moazzam Raza on the revenue collection through administrative measures during fiscal year 2019-20.

The Collectorate of Enforcement & Compliance (E&C) has been appreciated on revenue collection performance and staff of Collectorate has done their duties with great devotion and zeal particularly in such dangerous situation when their own lives were at stake due to corona outbreak.
