Lahore: FBR employees stage protests against Union president dismissal

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) lower grade employees under the banner of FBR Revenue Alliance Employees Union have started their protest demonstration in Regional Tax Offices against the dismissal of Union president.

Initially Faisalabad and Sialkot RTOs employees on Friday protested inside the RTOs and termed the dismissal of the Central President Mian Abdul Qayoom as illegal, unlawful and unjust.

They said that he was dismissed by the some of FBR top official to settle their personal grudge

On the occasion the speakers urged the employees to get united against the aggression of the FBR management.

They said that dismissal of their central president was no less than the elimination of the Union’s existence.

They apprehended that if the Union is washed away from FBR the top officials will make them their personal staff and will treat them like slaves.

They urged the authorities concerned to intervene and resolve the situation amicably.
