FBR issues arrest warrants of 200 influential tax evaders

SIALKOT: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued the arrest warrants of as many as 200 influential tax evaders for not paying their prolonged pending and outstanding taxes in Gujranwala Division’s all the six Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahaud Din, Hafizabad and Gujranwala districts.

The local senior FBR officials said that the FBR had repeatedly issued the final warning and recovery notices to these 200 tax evaders, stated to be influential politically, but they were still reluctant to pay their taxes by using their complete political influence.
