KARACHI: Ferry service for passengers will be started from Karachi to Chabahar port Iran, according to port and shipping sources.
They said all arrangements have been made for this purpose. An application has been forwarded to the Foreign Ministry for no-objection certificate. The ministry is yet to give approval in this regard.
The Port and Shipping Ministry said this decision was taken due to incidents of terrorism in Quetta and the matter was decided on 29 October in a meeting of Port and Shipping Ministry.
