FIFA 15 becomes UK’s best-selling games of 2014 after selling sterling 2.66m copies

LONDON: FIFA 15 became the UK’s best-selling games of 2014 after selling a sterling 2.66 million copies.

This was followed by Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (1.84m) and Grand Theft Auto V, MCV reports. First-person shooter Destiny came fourth, Watch Dogs fifth and Minecraft: Xbox Edition sixth.

FIFA 14 took seventh place, far Cry 4 eighth and Call of Duty: Ghosts ninth. Assassin’s Creed: Unity rounded out the top 10.

LEGO’s endless spinoffs did well too, with The LEGO Movie Videogame charting 14th, LEGO marvel Super Heroes coming 16th and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham coming 18th. LEGO The Hobbit was 39th, LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes 64th, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga 75th, LEGO The Lord of the Rings 86th and LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean 100.
