KARACHI: The Fifth Islamic Finance Expo & Conference is going to be held on April 21 in Karachi.
SECP Chairman Zafar Hijazi will be the chief guest in the inaugural ceremony, while Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) President Younus Muhammad Bashir and SBP Deputy Governor Saeed Ahmed will also attend the event, said a statement.
The theme of the conference is transforming strategies to revitalise growth: forging the next phase of progress for Islamic Finance in Asia, said Mehmood Tareen, founder and CEO of The Professionals Network.
This will be an annual national gathering of practitioners, scholars and experts to discuss and share their knowledge, expertise and experience on the principles, instruments and issues related to Islamic finance.
