KARACHI: Karachi Tax Bar Association (KTBA) President Syed Wasim Hashmi has once again requested the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to extend the date for filing of returns for the tax year-2014 for at least one more month.

In a letter to the FBR chairman, the KTBA president said that the members are facing problems in filing tax returns in new forms (manual with formula) and IRIS since September 16, 2014, as the update process is still continuing in the newly IRIS System from time to time, which hampers the filing process as the system was observed shutdown for several hours in a day.
