ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar reviewed the state of the economy during a meeting at the Finance Ministry.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Finance Dr. Waqar Masood, Advisor Finance Rana Asad Amin, Chairman Federal Bureau of Revenue, Asif Bajwa Chairman, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Tahir Mahmood and representative of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
The meeting discussed in detail the fiscal position and the progress made so far in achieving the targets set in the budget.
It also discussed progress made in the economic indicators including inflation, growth, and various reforms carried out by the government.
The Finance Minister expressed satisfaction over the progress made so far and urged the officials to redouble their efforts to achieve the targets.
