SYDNEY: The current generation of the EcoSport has been around since 2013, but has not been as successful as its maker had hoped. To give it an image boost, Ford is showing a much more aggressive version of it at the current Sao Paolo Auto Show in Brazil, and they’re calling it the EcoSport Storm Concept.

Ford isn’t saying much about this Storm Concept, as they haven’t even mentioned what power train it carries the EcoSport is available with four different engines.

The styling of the EcoSport Storm Concept has surely been heavily influenced by the mighty Ford F-150 Raptor pickup, and hence sports similar fender flares, bigger wheels and tires, body graphics and a big, bold grille.

The end result does look to be ideal for some dune bashing and trekking into the unknown. However, Ford currently has no plans to put this concept into production.
