Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man edition launching in Korea first

SEOUL: Samsung Electronics announced that it will take pre-orders for the Galaxy S6 edge Iron Man Limited Edition starting today, May 27.

The model was made after Tony Stark’s Iron Man mask from the Avengers movies, and 1,000 units will be sold in Korea for the first time.

Iron Man’s face and a serial number ranging from 1 to 1000 appear on the back side of the device, which will be available in Korea through three local mobile carriers.

Along with basic components, the device comes with a wireless charging pad made to look like one of the Stark arc reactors and a special package including a clear cover made by Samsung. The 64 GB version will be sold for 1.199 million won (US$1,084) per unit.

After online pre-orders for 1,000 customers on a first-come-first-served basis begin, the device will be delivered starting from late May.
