EDINA: Minneapolis is about to have ludicrous internet speeds. “The fastest internet in the world is going to be here in Minneapolis starting this afternoon,” reports US Internet co-CEO Joe Caldwell. “We’re talking about a game-changing speed.”
Apparently, though, we are also talking about a game-changing price. This ultra high speed internet will cost upwards of $400 a month, according to Caldwell. US Internet already offers a 1 gigabit per second service for only $65 a month to approximately 30,000 households to the west of Interstate 35W. These are the people who would be able to take advantage of the new service.
