KARACHI: Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan would inaugurate the renovated Eduljee Dinshaw Road project. The road was to be inaugurated on October 26, 2015; however, it was delayed due to some unknown reasons.

The project was the brain-child of Pakistan Customs and supported by Karachi Port Trust (KPT) to reshape the Eduljee Dinshaw Road in order to bring back its lost grandeur.

“The delay was s attributed to the non-availability of Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad Governor Sindh on his other official engagements,” according to a spokesperson for Pakistan Customs.

The said project was initiated to provide hassle free access to the commuters as Customs House and KPT on daily routine. Besides the project would add beauty to the historical place.

During renovation work all service cables being provided by civic utilities like Karachi Electric, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, National Transmission Company and others are underground in a running trench.

The 24 inches old rainwater service has been repaired in order to avoid any huddle in the smooth flow of sewage.
