Govt likely to present budget 2015-16 on June 5

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain Friday summoned the budget session of the National Assembly on June 5 when the government would present the annual budget for fiscal 2015-16.

The President summoned the session on a summary initiated by Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs containing the Prime Minister’s advice for summoning budget session.

The budget session will be held on June 5, at 1630 hours in the Parliament House.

On another summary, the President also summoned the session of the National Assembly on May 18 at 1500 hours to be held at the Parliament House.

The President also approved the Prime Minister’s advice for summoning of joint sitting of the Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 1100 hours.

The President also approved another summary initiated by Cabinet Division on Prime Minister’s advice for allowing 15 days ex-Pakistan leave from May 17, 2015 to May 31, 2015 to Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai.
