LONDON: New RTS game Grey Goo has announced its release date. The game will be coming on 23rd January 2015. In the meantime, we can be expecting game play videos and live streams.
Grey Goo is a real time strategy game in which three factions fight each other in a battle for survival. The game takes place on a planet called ‘Ecosystem Nine’ and the story focuses equally on all three factions as they ‘struggle for co-existence’. Developers Petroglyph Games have also said that Grey Goo will differ from other RTS games because the game places an emphasis on base construction and strategy over micro-management.
Speaking on the official forums, community manager Matthew Anderson stated that the closed alpha really helped the Grey Goo team improve the game.
