LONDON: GTA 5 Online “Ill-gotten Gains update: Part One,” is set to arrive this coming week. For those of you who want to look good while ripping off some of the biggest banks and businesses in the city, the Ill-gotten Gains update for GTA’s online mode will be available this Wednesday, June 10. Rockstar has promised that it will put up additional updates on its blog as the update becomes available across all platforms, so you’ll want to check there throughout the day if you’re looking to get your hands on the new loot as soon as it becomes available.

That’s where you’ll also want to stay tuned for new details on the upcoming Ill-gotten Gains Social Club Event Weekend (Part One), which will run from June 12-14 and give you plenty of bonus reasons to jump online and commit some virtual crime with friends and strangers alike. During that time, you can expect bonus experience and extra cash to make those less-than-legal activities more worth your while.

As for what, exactly, this upcoming update has in store for the residents of San Andreas, the answer is lots and lots of high-priced goods and shiny guns.

“Upscale merchants of all kinds are scrambling to fill their inventories to serve the newly wealthy,” reads the announcement from Rockstar. “The first two major deliveries this summer will be hitting the showrooms of luxury car dealerships, the shelves of top arms suppliers and other prestigious retailers in June.”

The Enus Windsor, for instance, will soon get eight paint jobs inspired by “the high-end designers of Rockford Hills.” You want a golden chopper? Then you can get a golden chopper! Golden guns, too? Not a problem. Basically, the gaudier the better looks to be the mantra for this first batch of Ill-gotten Gains, with the occasional touch of class, such as the classic muscle car, the Albany Virgo, or the Pegassi Osiris, which has gull-wing doors.

But there’s no point in having all of these golden goodies if you yourself don’t look great, which is why this upcoming GTAV update will also include hundreds of new clothing items designed to let the people of the city know how deep you’re rolling.
