HONG KONG: Customs Department Friday seized 286 iPhone 6 devices, worth 1.6 million HK dollars (about US$206,451) in latest raid in connection with its ongoing anti-smuggling operation especially against the smugglers of Apple’s latest model.
As per details, HK Customs officers and the Marine Police found some men loading boxes of goods at Deep Bay Road. On watching officials, the suspects fled in a speedboat, leaving the smuggled goods behind. Officers seized 11 boxes with 286 iPhone 6 devices and started investigation.
