HONG KONG: Stocks in Hong Kong gained at the break today following a rate cut announced by the People’s Bank of China on Friday.
The blue chip Hang Seng Index was up by 0.23 percent at 23,204.33 by the mid day break.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index ticked up by 0.72 percent at 3,437.03, while the Shenzhen Composite Index was also up by 0.62 percent.
