TOKYO: Hyundai Motor has settled on Volkswagen Group veteran Luc Donckerwolke as a successor to Peter Schreyer as head of design for Hyundai and Kia.
The Belgian designer resigned as head of design at VW Group’s Bentley brand earlier this month and intends to take up the “offer of a lifetime” at Hyundai, according to Automotive News on Wednesday.
Schreyer, who is in his early 60s, retires two years from now, and Donckerwolke will take full control at that time.
