ICCI delegation congratulates new members of IDBA

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) led by its President Muzzamil Hussain Sabri visited Islamabad District Bar Association (IDBA) to congratulate the newly elected President Raja Zahid Mahmood and other office bearers.

Speaking at the occasion, Muzzamil Hussain Sabri, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that close cooperation between ICCI and IDBA would be helpful in addressing the issues of lawyers and business community. He said traders of F-8 were facing many problems due to existence of courts in this important business center and IDBA should extend its cooperation for resolving these issues. He also invited the newly elected office bearers of IDBA to ICCI.

ICCI Senior Vice President Muhammad Shakeel Munir said that the courts and lawyers offices in F-8 has created A lot of rush and car parking issues in this business center. He stressed that ICCI and IDBA should make joint efforts to resolve this issue so that courts could work in a safe environment and business activities could also grow smoothly.

ICCI Vice President Muhammad Ashfaq Chatha said ICCI has formed a Committee to work for shifting of courts from F-8 which Is making hectic efforts to find out optimum solution of this issue. He said that IDBA should cooperate with said Committee to explore win-win resolution of the issue.

Abdul Rauf, Chairman Founder Group while congratulating the newly elected office bearers said that ICCI and IDBA were working for common objectives and both organizations should develop strong liaison which would be helpful in achieving their goals. He said lawyers were important part of society and business community would cooperate with them for the betterment of civil society.

Raja Zahid Mehmood, President, Islamabad District Bar Association while thanking ICCI delegation said that the Chamber has always encouraged newly elected office bearers of IDBA and assured that IDBA would provide all possible cooperation for resolving the highlighted issues.

Zubair Ahmed Malik, Muhammad Ejaz Abbasi, Khalid Iqbal Malik, Malik Sohail Hussain, Ajmal Baloch, Khalid Chaudhry, Salahuddin Awan, Musharaf Janjua, Syed Adil Anis and Naeem ur Rehman Piracha were also in the delegation.
