NEW DEHLI: Indian currency opened at 62.15 as against the US dollar today, while last day it closed at 62.17 a dollar. Indian Rupee has gained 1.51% since the beginning of the year 2015
FPIs (foreign portfolio investors) sold shares worth Rs 96.45 crore on last Friday.
The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation on Monday said that the FY15 advance estimates of GDP stand at 7.4% as compared to 6.91% in FY14.
The FY15 growth at current prices stood at 11.5% as against 13.6% in FY14. The October-December GDP growth is reported at 7.5% as compared to 8.2% QoQ. The July-September GDP growth is revised to 8.2% from 5.3% as estimated earlier.
