UTTAR PRADESH: Indian police has seized 3 kg heroin, worth Rs three crore in the international market, and arrested two narcotics smugglers, said by police officials here the other day.
The smugglers were going on a motorcycle in Babusarai locality under Auraiye police station area here when they were arrested last night, station officer Vivek Kumar Upadhaya told Customs Today.
Three kg heroin and Rs 55,000 was recovered from them, he said. The accused have been identified as Mohd Kasim and Brijesh Gupta, SO said, adding that investigations are underway.
