MUMBAI: Indian rupee has depreciated on Tuesday against US dollar. Indian currency fell 14 paise or 0.22 percent against dollar to trade at 63.57.
The most active May contract recorded a high of 63.9375 and a low of 63.8 after opening at 63.80.
A total of 0.14 million contracts were traded till 09:31 pm. Turnover for May contract was at Rs 8.65 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 1.54 million.
Dollar-rupee futures gained on Tuesday. USDINR May contract went up 10 paise or 0.16 percent at 63.90 as against previous close of 63.81.
