NEW DELHI: The Indian rupee weakened against the US dollar in the morning deals on Tuesday.
Against the greenback, the rupee fell to a 5-day low of 62.3400. At yesterday’s close, the rupee was trading at against the greenback.
If the rupee extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around the 62.80 area.
Traders await the the key events including Economic Survey, Railway Budget and Union Budget along with the expiry of February derivative series due later in the week.
