JAKARTA: A Kiwi police has been caught allegedly trying to smuggle 1.7kg of methamphetamine into Indonesia.
The accused Anthony Glen De Malmance flew into Denpasar from Hong Kong in the early hours of Monday morning
He allegedly had drugs in his backpack.
A source told De Malmance was very angry when he was earlier paraded by police at a press conference.
It comes after Kiwi Leeza Ormsby was sentenced earlier this year to 10 months in jail for possessing 0.3 grams of hashish.
Convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby was released in February after nine years in a Bali jail.
