CONNECTICUT: Just when you mentally conceived you had enough filters, Instagram goes and integrates more along with an updated design and a whole slew of other incipient and ameliorated features. Inspired by the photography, art, fashion and design of the ecumenical Instagram community, they’re relinquishing five incipient filters that we believe are their best yet.

You’ll visually perceive the filters at the front of your filter tray: Slumber, Crema, Ludwig, Aden and Perpetua. They soften and subtly shift colors to achieve the look and feel you optate for your each photo.

This is the first time the company has updated its filter set since integrating the Mayfair and Willow filter in December 2012 (the app now has 24 total filter options.) Instagram verbalizes the incipient filters were inspired by camera ameliorations on smartphones and the ingenuity of its users.

“Photography trends have evolved, and the capabilities of the camera on your phone have prodigiously ameliorated” the company indicted in a blog post. “We’ve visually perceived tremendous ingeniousness within the community, not only in the moments they apportion, but in the time spent conscientiously composing and editing photos and videos to bring out emotions and make them beautiful.
