Iran-EU trade stands at €6.231b in first ten months of 2015

TEHRAN: Iran exported one billion euros worth of products to the European Union member states in the first ten months of 2015, a 17 percent growth from €850 million in the same period of time in 2014, according to the EU statistics agency Eurostat.

The EU member countries exported €5.231 billion worth of goods to Iran from January to October this year, showing 0.2 percent growth from €5.216 billion in the ten-month period last year.

The Iran-EU trade stood at €6.231 billion in the first ten months of 2015, with 3 percent rise from €6.066 billion in the same period of time in 2014.

The bilateral trade rose 20 percent in 2014 from 2013, while it had dropped 47 percent in 2013 compared to its preceding year.
