KIEV: The information technology sector was ranked third in Ukraine’s export structure in 2016. Head of SmartTender.biz trading platform Anton Prypichenko said this at a press conference at Ukrinform. “In 2016, [IT sector] in Ukraine with a turnover of $2.5 billion was ranked third in total exports of goods from Ukraine. This means that IT sector is a serious area in Ukraine, and the country should invest in it and support it,” Prypichenko said. According to him, the state has really started to invest in IT development, as new service centers are being launched.
“We can now easily get administrative services, this is ProZorro public e procurement system,” said the expert.
