Jamaica police confiscate illegal gun, ammo in Hanover

HANOVER: One firearm and several rounds of ammunition were seized by lawmen during an operation on the Great River main road in Hanover.

Reports from police in Lucea, a team of officers was in the area when the driver of a motor vehicle was signalled to stop. The driver complied and the vehicle was searched.  A 9mm Smith and Wesson pistol along with eight rounds of ammunition were seized.
