Jordan Silos company bought 25,000 tonnes wheat in tender-trade

HAMBURG: Jordan’s state-owned Silos and Supply General Company is believed to have purchased about 25,000 tonnes of wheat in an international tender for the same volume which closed European traders said.

The price was believed to be around $234 a tonne c&f. The wheat had been sought for shipment in the first half of September.
