AMMAN: The director of the Free Zone Corporation, Marwan Al Qudah, said exports from Jordan’s free zones increased during June, compared to the previous month.

Al Qudah told Petra that free zone exports during June amounted to JD267 million, an increase of 14 percent compared to the month of May, due to an increase in automotive sector exports inside and outside the Kingdom, notably in the Saudi market. He added that investors in the free zones were able to reach new markets after their exports were blocked to traditional markets, such as Iraq and Syria.
