KARACHI: Customs and ANF officials will start checking the travelers at counters of Airport Security Force (ASF) after orders issued by Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Aviation Shujaat Azeem.
Sources said that Shujaat Azeem has directed the authorities concerned at Karachi Airport to remove checking counters of Customs and Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) from International Lounge. The sources said that Shujaat Azeem also directed that those traveling abroad should only be checked at the Airport Security Force (ASF) counter. They said that the ANF arrested dozens of travelers allegedly involved in smuggling at their counter.
