Khasadar seizes 25 kg hashish on Pak-Afghan border

PESHAWAR: The Khasadar Force of Khyber agency seized 25 kg hashish of high quality on Pak-Afghan border at Jamrud Tehsil of Khyber agency on Friday.

In-charge of Khasadar Force in Begyari region Hawaldar Ghazi Gull signalled a car to stop in a routine checking on Pak-Afghan border but the driver accelerated the speed and escaped from the scene leaving behind his car on the road.

Hawaldar Ghazi Gull checked the car meticulously and found high quality hashish worth Rs1.5million which was being smuggled across the border.

Due to tension between both countries, there has been an increase in the duty hours of the force to keep an eye on the movement on the border.
