DUBAI: Knowledge Management (KM) honored Dubai customs with Excellence Award in Middle East 2015 conference that was held with the theme of “ Knowledge Management in Action: Best Practices, Emerging Ideas, and Time-Tested Techniques.”
Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, director of Dubai customs received the Award from Juma Al Ghaith, executive director of customs development division, in the presence of Mohammed Al Khaja, executive director of client management division, Ahmed Bin Lahej, director of air customs centers management, Hussam Juma Mohammed, director of business process department alongside the Award team.
Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, commenting on the achievement said, “Dubai Customs upheld the concept of a ‘learning organisation’ driven by the grand shifts taking place in today’s competitive world. The move is aimed at realising the vision of our wise leadership in creating a knowledge based economy.”
He also added, “The knowledge management vision we are adopting is always geared towards establishing a pioneer smart organisation via the optimal utilisation of human capital.”
On his part Juma Al Ghaith said: “Dubai Customs adopts multiple techniques for knowledge management, mainly using tailored knowledge management workshops with disciplinary spectrums of documenting implicit knowledge and disseminating explicit knowledge through our Enterprise Connected View web portal.”
