SEOUL: Korea Western Power Co Ltd (WP) is seeking 640,000 tonnes of steaming coal per year from October 2015 to September 2020 via a term tender, the utility said on its website.
The tender for steaming coal with a minimum net calorific value of 5,200kcal/kg will close at 11 a.m. (0200 GMT) on July 21.
The shipping schedule at the loading port during the first contract year is 320,000 tonnes in the fourth quarter of 2015 and the remaining 320,000 tonnes in the first three quarters of 2016.
Products should be entirely supplied from a single mine, and the procurement is for the Taean power plant.
