KUWAIT: Deputy Premier, Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al- Sabah supervised the inspection of the evidence of the most recent smuggling attempt of a large quantity of heroin. Information was received about an expat who brings in drugs through courier companies, then following the legal procedure, the suspect’s house was raided and 32 baseball bats filled with heroin were found. He confessed that this is the second shipment and he uses these bats to bring in the drugs with a partner. The partner was also arrested at the airport hours before his departure. Both were sent to concerned authorities.
