KUWAIT CITY: Customs officers at the Kuwait International Airport have arrested an unidentified Asian expatriate domestic helper working for a Kuwaiti family for attempting to smuggle into the country one kilo of heroin hidden in a pair of jeans.
The woman reportedly looked nervous when she arrived at the customs counter and after the officer checked the baggage he found the drug neatly packed in a pair of folded jeans. During interrogation she admitted to bringing the drugs to sell. The contraband and the suspect have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control.
