KUWAIT CITY: Kuwaiti Customs officers at Abdally border foiled the attempt of an Asian truck driver to smuggle 11 kilograms of hashsih hidden in metal flasks for filling gas here the other day.
Sources from the Customs Department revealed the suspect came from Safwan, Iraq and he entered Kuwait through Abdally border. Customs officers got suspicious of his movement so they inspected his truck thoroughly, resulting in the discovery of the hashish whose value is estimated at KD 30,000. The Asian, along with confiscated drugs, was referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.
