KUWAIT CITY: Personnel from the General Department for Drugs Control in continuation of their successful operations, recently aborted an attempt by a Syrian to smuggle into the country two million narcotic pills hidden inside children’s bags, says a press release issued by the Ministry of Interior here the other day.
The press release said the securitymen acting on a tip-off put the man under surveillance and took into custody before he could take an outbound flight to a neighboring country.
