The video shows the Lamborghini in the right lane of Highway 99 in South Surrey speeding past the car with the dash cam, with a Dodge Viper following closely behind.

Then the car makes a sudden passing move before spinning out of control and off the highway, narrowly missing all the other vehicles on the road.

The car ended up at the bottom of a ditch and stuck in a fence, leaving it with some very significant damage.

Surrey RCMP Cpl. Bert Paquet said the 27-year old driver and his 19-year old passenger, both Edmontonians, are lucky to be okay.

But Paquet said the driver got slapped a large fine for “unsafe passing, speeding, as well as driving without due care, and is facing over $700 in fines as a result of these charges.”
