OTTAWA: LG has announced that it is starting the global roll-out of its new mid-range smartphones with South America. The new LG Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy will soon reach Europe, Asia, Africa and North America as well.
“Millions of customers around the world today are seeking reasonably-priced devices that don’t sacrifice on looks or features. Our newest mid-range smartphones are designed with both new and experienced users in mind all over the world who know a good deal when they see one,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
LG Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy was originally showcased at the Mobile World Congress and run on Android 5.0 Lollipop. On the design front, the new LG phones are pretty bland, apart from Magna and Spirit, which have been designed to fit more comfortably in the palm with 3000mm radius curved display.
The specifications of the phones too are pretty mediocre and a lot will depend on how LG prices the phones in various markets. You can check out the key specifications below.
