LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has summoned investigation of the report of committee about the petrol shortage in Pakistan.
Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah heard the petition against petrol shortage. During case proceedings, plaintiff Gohar Nawaz Sindhu told the court that petrol crisis badly affected routine life of the masses but the government is using ‘delaying tactics’ to protect the responsible individuals. Meanwhile, the court ordered the government to submit inquiry report but the defence lawyer sought one month time to submit it. Justice Mansoor Ali rejected the request and ordered the government to submit report by February 6.
