KARACHI: The Collector of Grade-BS 20, Manzoor Hussain Memon has started work as the Collector Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) of Appraisement-East.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), in its recently issued posting orders of the officers of the Pakistan Customs Services (PCS) of (Grade-19 & 20), has transferred Collector Manzoor Hussain Memon from MCC Exports to MCC Appraisement-East. The collector has previously worked as the director of the Directorate General of Customs Intelligence and Investigation in Karachi in 2013.
Manzoor Hussain Memon also worked as the collector of the Collectorate of Customs Adjudication-I in 2012.
According to the sources, the Collector Manzoor Hussain Memon has his individual approach to handle the issues and problems being faced by the Collectorates of field formation.
Evaluating his recent performance, the Collector Manzoor Hussain Memon has uplifted the working of Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Exports and the Collectorate was managed to get record revenue recovery through attachment notices of bank accounts and property of the defaulters in his tenure.
Keeping his steadfast performance throughout his career, the authorities concerned of FBR has appointed him as Collector MCC Appraisement (East) to bring significant changes.
