SYDNEY: Mazda CX-5 and Mazda6 has unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, which have received light styling upgrades that bring them up to date with Mazda’s newest vehicles.
In the case of the refreshed Mazda6, changes include a new front grille, signature wing design, new LED headlamps and an LED signature for the taillights, darker 19-inch aluminium wheels with high-gloss paint, a new shark fin antenna, and two new colours, Sonic Silver Metallic and Titanium Flash Mica.
Interior gets a restyled instrument panel and floor console, as well as the addition of Mazda Connect, Mazda’s next-generation car connectivity system, gets Electrical Parking Brake (EPB), the first of its kind for Mazda.
The engine line-up of the Mazda6 facelift is carried over unchanged and includes the 2.0-liter petrol offered in two states of tune (145HP and 165HP) and the 2.2-liter diesel which also comes in two flavours 150HP and 175HP.
Let’s move to see SUV, CX-5 facelift brings similar styling and equipment updates at the floor of Geneva, while the diesel engines are the same from the Mazda6. There are two petrol units on offer: a 2.0-liter with 160HP (AWD) or 165HP (FWD) and a 2.5-liter with 192HP. Both models were joined by the smaller CX-3 crossover and Mazda2 super mini.
